Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission cooperative serving central and Western Kansas, is seeking a currently enrolled electrical engineering student for our Distribution Engineering Internship for Summer 2024. You'll grow exponentially as an electrical engineer while working side by side with a group of talented and supportive co-workers. This position allows you to take what you have learned in your college courses and use that knowledge in real life experiences in a professional engineering environment in Hays, Kansas. The successful candidate will assist and support distribution planning and learn about our Member Cooperatives. You'll get the chance to work towards providing the lowest cost, most reliable, and environmentally sound distribution systems possible. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, or Experience

Qualifications: Two years of electrical engineering education at an ABET accredited institution required. Power emphasis preferred.
