Job Details- Director of Nursing - Acute Location- Great Bend, KS Salary: $115-135K (Depending on Experience) Benefits: Generous PTO, 401K options, Relocation assistance available If you have been an acute unit manager or nurse manager of several units for a larger facility. Job Description/General Duties: Provides positive leadership in an environment of teamwork, open communication, and customer service | Establishes and oversees compliance with regulatory and certifying agencies standards | Responsible for human resources processes including interviewing and orientating staff, ongoing performance management, and timekeeping/scheduling. Assists with financial management by developing and maintaining budget | Assists in developing policies, procedures and protocols to maintain standards of care and regulatory requirements. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, or Experience

Requirements: A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in hospital/Acute care Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Current Kansas Registered Nurse License or Compact License Triage experience Knowledge of general nursing and practice Ability to manage and direct associates. Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Kansas or has work permit from the State Board of Nursing. BLS certification required or must complete BLS certification with in the first 30 days of employment. TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) ACLS certification ENPC or PALS is required within one year of employment; additional certification may be required for certain patient care settings or populations.
