Description
Under the direction of the City Administrator, is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading the implementation of strategic communications for the City of Great Bend, serving as the Public Information Officer, delivering and providing information about Great Bend to promote our community as well as to get needed information out in the event of an emergency, as directed by the City Administrator. Performs duties related to marketing, community coordination, community partnerships, and event facilitation working closely with the CVB Director as well as Great Bend Economic Development and the Chamber of Commerce.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, or Experience
We prefer a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, with three years of related experience in sales, marketing or community planning.
