Are you tough enough to handle the challenges of building and maintaining the Roads and Bridges in Barton County? We’re looking for skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team of Road & Bridge Equipment Operators. Must be safety oriented to follow safety protocols and be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions. Hours are 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and occasional call out on evenings or weekends for emergency road treatment. Requires a valid Class C license, Class A or B preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, or Experience

High School diploma or GED required with 2 years of trade school preferred in road construction or related field. Two years of light to medium construction, maintenance or agricultural equipment operating experience required. Must be able to move 50 pounds frequently and work in extreme outdoor conditions.
