Mid America Seed located in Great Bend, KS is looking to add a qualified Staff Accountant to their growing team. This is an entry-level accounting position and you will be responsible for processing the day to day accounting activity, inventory control, staying in constant communication with the Sales Team on Sales Orders and the Warehouse Department on Purchase Orders, monitor/maintain/report on prepay contracts and vendor billings, along with assisting the accounting team in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. This position reports to the Financial Accountant. The qualified candidates must be able to pass post-offer employment testing. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, or Experience

The successful candidate for this position must be highly organized, motivated and have general accounting and bookkeeping knowledge. A 2-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Attention to detail, oral & written communication skills and an act for critical thinking are also sought.
