Assistant Controller

ILS Farms is continuously growing and we are seeking to add a detail oriented Assistant Controller to help drive financial accuracy and efficiency in our expanding operations. Key Responsibilities Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies. Maintain internal controls and support audits. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, or Experience

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in agriculture or farming. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Agriculture Accounting: Understanding of farm cost accounting, commodity inventory valuation, and agribusiness financial regulations, and FSA practices is a plus. Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with farm managers and financial teams.
